John R. Grey, A.L.C., Broker - John, the youngest person to be licensed by the Florida Real Estate Commission, joined his father, James, at the family firm selling real estate in 1964. John graduated from Gulf High School, completed real estate courses at Tomlinson Adult Educational School, the University of FL, Real Estate Land Institute and continued his real estate education through numerous seminars and courses. He was awarded the Professional Designation of “Accredited Land Consultant #758” by the National Association of Realtors. John is an active member of many community organizations, nonprofit causes and professional associations. He was appointed by the Governor to serve as Pasco County Commissioner in 1983, served on the first Save Our Rivers Committee of SWFWMD, was appointed the first lay-member of the FL Bar Association Grievance Committee – 6th Judicial District, and served on the first Pasco County School System Advisory Board. Charles "Chuck" R. Grey, Broker - Chuck is a life-long resident of New Port Richey. He attended Pierce and Richey Elementary Schools in New Port Richey, and St. Petersburg Jr. College graduating with an Associate of Arts degree. Chuck entered the US Navy and attended Naval Intelligence School before being sent to active duty in South Vietnam. Returning to New Port Richey in 1972, he joined the family real estate firm. Chuck received extensive training in commercial investment real estate, becoming a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Member of the National Association of Realtors. Chuck is deeply involved in the West Pasco community. He serves on a number of nonprofit boards and committees, has been a Rotary member for over 20 years, and is an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Chuck and his wife of 40 years, Cindy, have seven children, three biological and four adopted. Three of his sons are officers in the US Army and have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jeff Grey, Sales Associate - Jeff graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in International Studies in 2004. He then joined the US Army to serve overseas where he was awarded a number of commendations, medals and badges. After returning home to Florida, Jeff joined his father, Chuck, and Uncle, John, at the family business, F. I. Grey & Son, Inc. Commercial Realtor. Jeff happily resides in New Port Richey with his wife, Monica, and their daughter, Sophia.
Leander "Lee" Koutsos, Sales Associate - Lee attended Georgia Tech to study electrical and computer engineering. He returned to FL in 1989 forming a partnership with a custom homebuilder in Palm Harbor; beginning his adventure into real estate. Obtaining a Florida Real Estate license in 1992, he joined US Home in Clearwater as a Sales Rep. In 1996 he transferred to the company’s Colorado Division to join their north Denver market. After 15 years, Lee left the company to pursue commercial real estate as a commercial broker. In 2011 he returned to Florida to be closer to family, joining the F. I. Grey family that same year. Lee’s expertise is wide ranging, including sales and leasing of retail, office, industrial, multi-family, vacant land and investment properties. He has extensive experience with owner and buyer/tenant representation. Lee is an active member of the New Port Richey Rotary Club, and enjoys fishing and boating with his wife and 3 sons.
Bob Smallwood, Sales Associate - Bob has a unique career blending an engineering and business background with a passion for real estate. Bob has over 35 years of sales and business development experience with companies like HP, Agilent Technologies, and Fluke. He has expanded his skill set and applied it to his own real estate investments over the past 25 years. Bob brings determination and focus with an eye towards details that a traditional agent often lacks. Bob is very active in the West Pasco community, serving on the boards for Greater New Port Richey Main Street Program, Bayou Business Association, New Port Richey Parks & Rec and the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce. Robert Upton, Sales Associate - Bob has over 25 years’ experience in the corporate and retail banking industry serving financial institutions in the Northeast and Florida. Phil Chesnut, Sales Associate - Phil is a long time resident of Pasco County and a retired banker with a career spanning over 43 years. He has organized and successfully managed community banks in Seminole County and Pasco County following 23 years with affiliate banks of the former Ellis Banking Corporation. Phil is managing director of H & M Storage, L.L.C. and Zolfo Cattle Company, L.L.C. Phil is a graduate of New Port Richey’s Gulf High School and holds a B.A. Degree from St. Pete’s Eckerd College. Joe Cash, Sales Associate - Joe is a North Carolina native and resident of Florida since 1964. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, is a US Army Vietnam Veteran serving with the 526th Counter Intelligence Corps in Okinawa, and is also a former Pasco County Deputy Sheriff. Joe’s been active in the West Pasco business community for over 35 years. In his 25 year real estate career, his experience includes construction contractor, national restaurant chain buyer representative, in addition to commercial sales associate.
